Study Tips

  • Condense: when you’ve learned something off-by-heart, try to condense your notes again leaving only the topics that are harder to learn.
  • Exam questions: practice doing exam questions within the time you would be expected to do them in the exam.
  • Record: e.g. put important quotes and points on tape – listening to your own voice can help you memorise them.
  • Relax: it is very important to take time to relax and unwind between study sessions and on the night before exams.
  • Talk: reading your notes out loud can help you recall them.
  • Test: when you’ve studied a topic try and see what you can remember when you don’t have your notes to look at.
