The management of St. Brigid’s Presentation Secondary School have organised provide a free information session for parents on the topics of:

Digital Footprint

Excessive Screen Time

Inappropriate Content

Strangers Online

Social Media, Apps and Online Games

The information meeting will take place in St. Brigid’s on Thursday 14th March at 7pm and will be facilitated by Zeeko. Zeeko provides Internet safety talks for students, parents and teachers. There are two objectives (i) to raise awareness of issues with the internet, and (ii) to give students, parents and teachers actionable insights so students can safely benefit from the Internet. They will provide a customised presentation for parents based on the school’s Digital Trend Report which will have been generated during Zeeko’s meetings with students earlier in the day. The customised presentation will provide an objective up to date insight into the digital behaviours of our students. Zeeko’s qualified facilitators have backgrounds in psychology, media and technology. They have visited over 450 Primary and Secondary schools across Ireland.

We would be delighted to welcome parents from all schools in the Killarney area on the night.
