The Soroptimist Public Speaking Competition

This is a great opportunity for our students to acquire public speaking skills and confidence.

Students are given the choice to speak on a variety of topics including climate change, the empowerment of women and human rights.

The local heat takes place in Killarney, followed by the regional heat and then a national final.

We have achieved great success in the school with this competition.

This competition encourages young women to have a voice and speak their mind.
