LCVP Visit to Local Enterprise

As part of the Leaving Certificate Vocational Programme, our students go on a visit out to a Local Enterprise. Within the last 5 years, LCVP students have visited Skellig’s Chocolates Factory in Ballinskelligs, Educate.ie in Castleisland, Lee Strand Creamery in Tralee, LIR Café in Killarney and the Killarney Brewing Company.

This is an invaluable experience for the students as they learn about all elements of a business and gain a greater understanding how local businesses contribute to our community. They also develop their report writing skills.

St. Brigid’s has developed close connections with local businesses and they in turn support our students by giving them the opportunity to complete their work experience in their businesses.
